We want Mix CDs. Don't you?! What better way to celebrate those crazy Equinoxes and Solstices than to throw some Seasoned Tunes around? This is an elite club of 10, like the tribes of Israel? (Hopefully this swap is a little more successful than those tribes...) So, as ambitious as we are, we are asking that all 10 members swap with the others. So, Winter 2008, you may expect 9 brand-new mixes. The theme? Lisa would like mixes of songs you enjoyed between swaps. Luke thinks mixes based on the seasons would be fun. Luke thinks we're really asking for the same mix...what songs did you listen to this fall...or what songs make you think of fall. Same thing, right? Lisa doesn't think so. Maybe you won't either. It doesn't really matter...send whatever you want. There is no theme. We just want to share music to be enjoyed by all...or most. Luke, Lisa, Juan, Kyle, Tobie, Felicity, Billy Broz, Christine, Sarah, Tom...are you up to the challenge? Happy swapping!

I'm pretty pumped about my mix! I'm sending mine out Sat. cause I leave for Florida (for 5 weeks) on Sun. I changed my address to where i'm going to be in FL...i'm going to be getting more mail than anyone! YESSSS!

hey kyle, i got your comment...a $100 bill?? i'm confused. hmmm i don't know if i've heard the original "beautiful scandalous night." Who sings it?

felicity: no, you didn't tuck a $100 bill in my CD. i just wanted to make everyone else jealous. you can tuck one into the next one tho'. the original "beautiful scandalous night" was from an album called "At the Foot of the Cross". a worship CD by alternative Christian artists back in the early '90s. bands like The Choir, Adam Again, etc. maybe for one of my CDs i'll make a trip down "alternative Christian" memory lane. hmmm.

can you guys let me know if the cds worked past #10?? i know kyle's was weird. i had trouble burning them for some reason. If everyone's album is whack i can send another one to you all. the cds that i've received so far are great!! i love this!!

I love it too! No, Christine, your CD did not play past track 10, which was really sad because tracks 1-10 were very enjoyable. Tobie, I hope you had fund going staple-crazy. This is a lot of fun, guys. Thanks!

did anyone have trouble with the wintry mix CD? on mine the tracks are divided in the middle of songs. luke and lisa, i nominate you for a golden globe for this idea. i look forward to getting the mail.

Toby, your cd was cracked when i got it, but Lisa is going to make me a copy and send it with hers.

I'm trying to catch up on listening so i'm not ready to review anyones just yet...but i'll get there =)

I don't know many of my Wintry Mix cds were messed up. On the cds I received that were messed up I simply downloaded the songs I couldn't listen to. If anyone needs another copy of my mix sent to them just say so.
