Wohoo, hosting my first swap!

For this one you’ll send two Zines to your swap partner. They should be typical mini-zines or at least fit into a normal envelope.

The topic of the Zine is completely your choice, because you may already want to start making one before partners are assigned. Nevertheless there will be two weeks to send the items, in case you want to make something based off the interests of your swap partner.

You can easily participate, even if you’ve never made a zine before. Normally you can fold one mini booklet out of one piece of paper and then fill the pages with whatever you like.

Some ideas could be: an (illustrated) short-story, something about love, a hobby, about aliens, about your day\weekend\summer\holiday, your relation to taking the bus, the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “growth” (works with any other words as well)

Or give yourself some inspiration when looking at the other persons profile. Zines can be literally about anything you like!

I personally like sending out copies, because I want to keep the original and eventually make even more copies to distribute in my hometown.

In case you need more time, let your swap partner know! And don’t rate down if the zines are not your favourites, people have very different tastes and there goes a lot of effort into one of these.

Your zines are of course your zines and you can still distribute them how much you like, they’re not exclusively for this swap!
