Well this is fantastic to hear I am not the only person who has an aversion to tropical birds but likes wild ones. My husband was fairly certain I was making it up because it sounds so specific.
I had no idea the west was less humid! Humidity does something 80's to my hair. I imagine now if I stepped foot on the East Coast my hair would spontaneously form an afro.
I have seen a lot of pictures of your area then! My grandma used to subscribe to Country magazine and half the pictures seemed to be from there.
Your box went out yesterday! It should be there Friday they said (sounds optimistic to me, but what do I know?) There's an extra little something in there for you that I think you'll like (:
"Back home" there was an individual who would bring their parrot with them into the grocery store! I ran into them a few times while shopping and ack, I don't even know why they would allow birds like that in the store. Funny because flightless tropical birds don't bug me, and regular birds don't either. So there's no logic.
And lol, I now know to never send you a Tim Curry art doll!
I'm also surprised you're fond of the West Coast and Seattle but have never been over here. It's all very lovely. To be fair, I have never been to the East Coast (: I'm sure it's lovely too (but not quite as lovely ;)
Love the Sasquatch! Lol, and while I am fine with Tim Curry I am totally with you on pet birds. I never had a bad experience I just get inexplicably and extremely uncomfortable around most pet or tropical birds. Guess who avoids the aviary at the zoo :/
