Thank you for your fungus swap (first installment). The postcard and stamps are beautiful. Yes, we Europeans are always poisoning ourselves with wild mushrooms. Germany and France have several deaths a year, every autumn. The Polish and the Czechs seem to be a bit more savvy: they are great mushroomers and they hardly ever die from it! Are USAians keen mushroomers?

heh, candy cigarettes are great for playing pretend as an adult too. My sister and I both use them in November when we pretend to be novelists. Better on my teeth that chewing on pens and better on my lungs than actual cigarettes... no matter how silly I look typing away with a candy cigarette hanging out of my mouth. (Added bonus, when you're as bad at making coffee as I apparently am, they even out the bitter taste.)
