Send a note card to your partners telling them something you did (or plan to do) to celebrate pride month in June. I think it's important in these culture canceling/book banning times that we fight for what we believe in to help support the people and causes that are fighting for acceptance and equality.

Here are some ideas of ways you can support Pride Month and LGBTQ+ people:

Learn a little something about Queer history, Read a book or poet associated with LGBTQ+, Attend a Pride Parade, Send a donation (it doesn't have to be a lot) to an organization who supports LGBTQ+, Write a letter to someone you know or a famous person who identifies as LGBTQ saying hello, Find a local chapter of something in your city and sign up for newsletter or emails, Write to your congress people expressing support for LGBTQ+ people,

Little acts matter and add up to big acts and movements. I'm especially concerned with book banning and want to ensure that books that share and support this challenging lifestyle are around to educate/comfort those who can benefit from past experience whether true or in a made up story or graphic novel.
